Our favorite San Clemente clan came up for a very wet visit, but thanks to brave toddlers, Bo’s playroom, Disney soundtracks and the Train Museum…the weekend was a BLAST!
The three amigos sitting in front of the very first Locomotive used the U.S.! Am I a dork that I think that is really cool? They were also very interested in the history lesson as you can see…
We’ve been to the museum so many times and we never get sick of it. It is full of so much to discover and look at, and the exhibits are incredible!
We got a tiny bit of Sunshine on the last day so we gave Colleen and the two D’s a little tour of our new Capitol city and stopped off at the whimsically organic fairytale town!
Dylann and Davis were great playmates for Bo, and my little toddler did a pretty good job sharing his prized possessions (TOYS and more TOYS)…most of the time.
The highlight of the visit (besides talking and talking and talking with Colleen while sipping adult beverages) was definitely the Disney dance party. Gus and the kidlets turned our kitchen into Jungle Book, Lady and the Tramp and Lion King music videos. No pics, unfortunately, because we literally couldn’t stop laughing. CLASSIC.
Sidenote: At least, I don’t have buyers remorse anymore for spending $40 on Itunes for Disney Classics Volumes 1, 2 and 3, and yet I am still missing key songs!!! Yes, I could have a problem.
THANKS FOR ANOTHER FABULOUS DUBOST WEEKEND! And Colleen, you are such a TROOPER. Two kids, double stroller, 3 suitcases and 2 car seats by yourself = Amazing FRIEND and MOM!!!!
