The Ties that Bind!

We have so much to be thankful for, but nothing more than our health and our amazing families that we get to share the Holidays with!

A few days before Thanksgiving, Grandpa Frank stayed with us in the bay, and of course, had the boys rolling on the ground laughing for most of the time.

And even Auntie Nat, flew all the way out from NYC to be with us this Thanksgiving.

The Van Horn’s had a FULL HOUSE this holiday, and I can’t thank them enough for opening the doors for all the Argenals. But I don’t think Reece was complaining..

The Turner Grandkids finally all together at once!

We are so thankful for our health, happiness, and most of all the unconditional love and support of our fams. The Van Horns went above and beyond!

November Whirlwind!

Season is underway and Holidays are here. We got lucky to sneak in a work/date trip to Monterey Bay thanks to Noreen. She even packed us a little picnic for the Beach! That woman never ceases to amaze me with her thoughtfulness. We had a perfectly clear sunset and even saw a group of dolphins swim by! Sounds so cliché, but it really happened.

Another highlight of November was Gus’s first win against a good team! sorry, Fresno Pacific, the Pioneers were hungry that night! Time to take that fancy bus back down the hill. : )

And Molly (coaching friend, not my sis) the boys, and I had a beautiful day trip up to Healdsburg. That is a DARLING town. I’ve never been there and can’t wait to go back. Molly was a trooper, because Ace was pretty much screaming the entire car ride! At least we had a delicious lunch when we finally arrived and had a cute walk around the town.

And we got right back into the Holiday craft spirit when we weren’t on Pioneer roadtrips…

And since this will probably never happen again, I had to include these car wash pics! I mean, really? This doesn’t happen in real life. I most definitely must’ve bribed them.

Roadtrip to Santa Barbara

I couldn’t miss Gus’s first game as a head coach, so what better way to make a 5 hour roadtrip easier than making a pit stop for the Dubosts!

We all had a blast at their campground which was just an hour outside of Santa Barbara. I love that the Dubost clan likes to include some friendly sports competition, cold beer, lots of laughs and a toasty campfire.

And the reason I drove all this way with our two boys was for this moment right here. My husband’s first game, and the moment he got to call his first time out. No matter what the score was (hello, we played Santa Barbara!) or that their radio announcers said our coaching staff was so young they looked like a “bunch of 12-yr-olds” it was worth it! I couldn’t be prouder of what Gus has achieved in the beginning of his coaching career.

As you can see, the young Argenal boys were equally excited. Sadly, they were too emotional and nervous; they had to turn their backs...
