Wedding Weekend!
Not only did we get to reunite with all of Gus’s buddies from college and watch one of his BEST FRIENDS tie the knot…
We also got to reunite with soon to be married, Auntie Molls and Uncle Mike…
AND we got to watch Gus’s college buddies bond with our little crazies.
Disneyland + Brett’s wedding in one weekend? ABSOLUTE MAYHEM but absolutely priceless.

Characters at the Disneyland Hotel
I’ve never stayed at the Disneyland hotel as a child but, WOW, it was magical even as an immature adult.: )
Gus’s Mom, Noreen, truly wanted us to have the “ABSOLUTELY BEST” time for the July birthday’s and treated all of us to two nights at the Disneyland Hotel and a Character Dining Breakfast for Bo’s big day.
I hightly recommend saving some extra bucks if you can and stay the one of the three amazing hotels they have onsite for your next Disneyland trip. The parking, the perks (extra park hours!) and it’s perfect location to all the dining and shopping in Downtown Disney make it definitely worth the price!
PLUS, within 5 minutes of arriving, guess who we see?
Also, the hotel just got a major facelift. It is gorgeous inside, very updated and modern, but still m-i-c-k-e-y inviting…
The absolutely BEST PART of the whole stay was watching Bo and Acer’s faces when they got to meet all the characters at Bo’s birthday breakfast! The gorgeous buffet spread was a HUGE added bonus for us sleepy-eyed adults.
Bo was all smiles with the Oversized Chipmunks and Giant Bears, but Alice and Snow White were met with very awkward, “Hello’s!”
And Bo got to share his b-day GLEE with Auntie Suzanne, Mimi, and Grandma who all gave him gifts he literally didn’t part with the whole trip! The light saber from Suzanne and the Peter Pan collectables from Mimi were definite front-runners for his favorite. LUCKY BOY.
Amazing Crew. Amazing Hotel. Amazing 3rd Birthday for Bo.
All thanks to one amazingly sweet and giving Grandma Noreen!!! Thanks so much from ALL OF US. XOXO

DISNEYLAND BIRTHDAY!!!
Things got off to a rough start as we battled the crowds at Cars Land! Then Bo’s first ride EVER broke down TWICE (lots of tears!) and THEN when we waited in line to get a pic with Mater, we got all the way to the front and Mater took a BREAK!!!
But all good things come to those who wait…
We were first in line to meet the MOST POPULAR character at Disneyland this summer: Mr. Lightning McQueen himself…
And the ride finally started working and Bo was straight beside himself laughing and yelling throughout our first ride together.
One of his favorite rides!
Auntie Suzanne bought him his first Mickey hat, which he would not take off all weekend.
The Crew: My Mom
Soon to be my Argenal Sis-in-Law, Suzanne
Grandma Noreen who treated us to this AMAZING Vacation for Bo’s and my birthdays!
And this Crazy Guy:
I tried to snatch the Mickey hat during fireworks when Bo was dozing, but I got caught!
One of the BEST treasures of this vacation? Having Daddy back for a few days between a long recruiting period!
From shooting guns…
to flying around on spaceships…
and JEDI training with Darth Vader, Bo and Daddy were attached at the hip.
Disney in 1.5 days was equally thrilling and exhausting, but we couldn’t have seen so much and had so much fun with out all the HELPING HANDS!
Suzanne, you are so amazing with kids and thanks so much for all the love you showed Bo on his big day!
Mimi, aka my mother, thanks so much for being so flexible and easy-going on your whirlwind 48 hour tour with Argenal and Co.
And to Grandma Noreen, we all truly can’t thank you enough for the BEAUTIFUL TRIP OF A LIFETIME. Bo is the luckiest 3 year old I know.
