An Argenal Celebration: Jamaica!

Um, can you say CHEERS to a destination wedding? WE HAD THE BEST TIME EVER watching J and Suzanne get married. Only regret? We wish we could have stayed longer. Oh, and the fact that my camera was STOLEN; I only have pics from my iPhone. tear.

After a quick overnight stay in Montego Bay alone, we got to share a cab to Whitehouse, Jamaica with Suzanne’s Mom and her twin sister the next morning. Red stripes and Bob Marley made it a perfectly cliqued entrance into our Jamaican vacay.

The few days before the wedding were spent celebrating with our family and celebrating in the bluest water this gorgeous earth has to offer.

The rehearsal dinner was long and emotional in true Argenal fashion. The bride looked calm and gorgeous in her darling white dress!

And Suzanne and I got some hilarious dance lessons late-night from the Jamaican women who worked at the Martini bar. Probably the best after-party post rehearsal dinner ever!!!

And just in time, I popped over to the bride’s suite to snap some pics…I love this of the beautiful Gill twins. Diana truly has some beautiful daughters, inside and out.

And we waited patiently for the rain to pass, but it was well worth it for the RIDICULOUSLY perfect ceremony and reception drenched in a Jamaican sunset.

The most beautiful setting for a wedding I have ever seen. The beach, the sunset, the music and the families, but most of all the Bride and the Groom who said “I Do” made it an unforgettable night. Suzanne, I’m so OVERJOYED to call you my sister. xo.

Bo Knows Science

Bo’s current obsession with everything paleontology has led us to museums, a fossil/bone swap shop, iPhone bone digging apps, every netflix video on dinosaurs ever made, and of course, at-home science experiments…

So, in case you didn’t know, empty toilet paper rolls are similar to bones in that they can hold a lot of weight if the weight is distributed correctly. Don’t say Bo never taught you anything.

Martinis and Skylines: Sisters in NYC

For my first solo trip away since Bo and Ace (5 years!), NYC with two sisters was the perfect trip. Especially when my delay in Atlanta equated to 3 hours of this:

And then when I arrived in NYC, and met up with the future Mrs. Suzanne Argenal and the youngest Turner Sis, we got to wear dresses, heels, and sip the BEST basil martini around…

For the next 3 days, we did tourist by day, and locals by night with our amazing Hosts, Natalie and Nathan!

It was Suzanne’s first trip to NYC, so we very possibly walked the entire city to see it all and get some fun touristy pics.

One very unique thing we got to experience was the penthouse level of Paramount Studios, President’s Suite! Natalie has a friend there (shocker) and he let us lounge and snap pics in, arguably, one of the best offices in the world…

Did I miss my opportunity to lounge on the infamous Paramount couch? Most definitely not.

And, OOOOOOh, so this is nightlife? I pretty much forgot. Good times with Natalie and Co.

Between walking the city all day, and playing in the city all night, Suzanne and I were bleary-eyed and exhausted by the last day and definitely ready for some Home-Sweet-Home R&R! And what a reunion it was at the airport! Nothing sweeter than two boys who think you light the world, and one bleary-eyed husband. heehee : ) And who doesn’t love NYC Swag?

Natalie, you were the best host as always and your AMAZING CITY never disappoints. Thanks for being the best Beu on the EC.
