Love on the Sea Ranch Beach
Daddy LOVES: doing what he does best…making his crazy boys laugh!
Bo LOVES: putting the SMACK down (non-violent version shown here)!
Acers LOVES: to eat a banana all by himself!
Nana and Poppa LOVE: Bo spying them from yards away and sprinting toward them armed with a monster bear hug.
Momma LOVES: Watching Bo make blonde friends on the beach…Oh, the irony.

Timeless Play
Courtney and her Clink boys are some of Bo’s FAVORITE people, so when she invited us to her Mom’s AMAZING home to swim and play, BO WAS PSYCHED!
Ace pretty much just kicked it with the local pool amphibians and reptiles.
We miss them so much since they live in Chico, and they spend most of their time winning Championships (Go WILDCATS!), but every time we see them again, it’s like time has not passed. LOVE THOSE MINI-CLINKERS!

Acers New Moves…
Ace is loving being able to crawl around now; I had to snap some pics to show off his new moves…
This efficient mover loves crawling as fast as he can to entice anyone to chase him. Then he EXPLODES in giggles when Bo or I catch up to him.
But there is still one thing that can stop him instantly in his tracks…cheerios.
Ace, you are so beyond precious and sweet and we love watching you grow!

Go Giants!
We have been embracing our time out of season this year and it’s truly been the best. On Friday night we headed back down the hill for more fun in the BAY. Ace and Bo were having a party with their cousins at Mimi’s Great Adventure Sleepover with all the grandkids. Gus and I decided to take up Joey and Sarah’s invite for a GIANT’S double date.
The view was beautiful, and the seat location was amazing; there was no wind and no clouds! San Francisco must be having one AMAZING Spring, or we are just getting lucky, because every time we go down there it has been gorgeous.
Gus’s cousin Joey, and his fiancĂ©, Sarah, took us on a fabulous double date of bites, drinks and GIANTS!!!
We wish we lived closer to them; they are the most easy-going, warm and HILARIOUS couples we know. They recently got engaged and we CAN’T WAIT to celebrate their union with them in April 2012 at one of our favorite places: CABO!
Joey and Sarah, thanks so much for an amazing NIGHT OUT IN THE CITY! I promise next time that I won’t “fall asleep” on BART on the way home. : )

Acers is Crawling!
It took this little man a little longer to get up on those kissable roly-poly knees than Bo did, but right around 9.5 months Acers began slowly crawling. It was definitely easier having him immobile longer than Bo this long, but now that he is crawling all over the place, Bo has found a new toy to play with!
These two silly brothers were on opposite ends of the tunnel the other day, and they would take turns playing peek-a-boo and laughing hysterically at each head pop-up. It really is the first time they have played together without my coercion!
Congrats to my little crawler for taking the big leap from months of superman-swimming in one place to following me all around the kitchen. Let’s not forget the added bonus of him taking occasional breaks to put everything potentially life-threatening into his mouth. The days of a few precious minutes of unsupervised immobility from this crawler ARE OVER.
And Congrats to Bo for giving Ace a little sneak peek of how fun big brothers can be!

A Memorial to Remember!
Uncle J and soon-to-be Auntie Suzanne came to play and my little man was in HEAVEN! Suzanne is AMAZING with kids and it was so fun to have them stay for a few days.
On Memorial day we visited family up in Lake of the Pines and Bo even got to drive the boat.
Bo actually got in the chilly waters and splashed around with Daddy until his teeth chattering sent him into convulsions. He was so brave, though, and for those of you that know Bo, this is not typical. He was probably trying to impress his new besties: J and Suzanne.
