Argenals are JUICED!

The juice-maker has been on vacation since we moved into our house and I can’t believe I forgot about it. So like all morally sound Mommies, I devised a plan of bribery to get much needed haircuts out of the situation.

Unfortunately, Ace doesn’t really get a choice in the matter, since his buzz cut is usually a sneak-attack, but I knew Bo would be game. So it was simply presented to my 2-year-old: I’ll buzz your locks during breakfast and then you will get to stuff fruit and veggies into a loud machine that turns everything into juice!

It worked!

Bo’s creation included watermelon, oranges, strawberries and carrots! They LOVED it, and I loved cheers-ing to my newly buzzed boys!

Celebrating Gus X2!

Father’s Day was on June 17th this year, so we got to celebrate Gus twice this past Sunday since he also turned 31 (OLD MAN)!

We spent the weekend in gorgeous Tahoe with Gus’s mom, Noreen and our crazy kidlets. It’s amazing how much entertainment my children get from freezing cold water + sand toys + an old snow sled.

To celebrate the big day we headed to a beach on south shore and relaxed…a.k.a made sure no one burnt their toes, ate too much sand, had an accident or decided to go swimming without supervision. As you can see, the boys were SUPER CHILL as usual.

Ace learned how to flex and and pull himself up during our little outing!

Back at Auntie Barb’s cabin we went on “adventure walks” every night, sang b-day songs, and refereed the boys club.

Perfect Pit Stop

Grandpa Frank was headed down to San Diego for a week to visit Molly and Mike, so I asked him to make a pit stop and play with the Argenals for a few days.

Water guns + milk and cookies + a date to Chevy’s coupled with the unbridled youth that exudes from Grandpa Frank = Bo being all kinds of ridiculous and silly for three days straight…

Timeless Play

Courtney and her Clink boys are some of Bo’s FAVORITE people, so when she invited us to her Mom’s AMAZING home to swim and play, BO WAS PSYCHED!

Ace pretty much just kicked it with the local pool amphibians and reptiles.

We miss them so much since they live in Chico, and they spend most of their time winning Championships (Go WILDCATS!), but every time we see them again, it’s like time has not passed. LOVE THOSE MINI-CLINKERS!

Acers New Moves…

Ace is loving being able to crawl around now; I had to snap some pics to show off his new moves…

This efficient mover loves crawling as fast as he can to entice anyone to chase him. Then he EXPLODES in giggles when Bo or I catch up to him.

But there is still one thing that can stop him instantly in his tracks…cheerios.

Ace, you are so beyond precious and sweet and we love watching you grow!
